Welcome to the Fringe Volunteer
Community. This is where volunteer news will be posted and questions will be
answered, so check back often. Volunteers are the backbone of the Fringe, and
the Festival couldn't happen without us!
Here Comes the Fringe!!!
The 2008 Boulder International Fringe Festival is on its way! This year the
Festival is August 14-25. Over 70 artists will be presenting over 350 performances!
That is a lof of art, and we here in the Volunteer community are gearing up
to help support it!
How To Volunteer:

online, and you'll get updates about Fringe events and volunteer opportunities
in your inbox.
It is just that easy. If you have any questions, just email me at
volunteers@boulderfringe.com.
Who should Volunteer:
Members of the Volunteer Community come in all shapes and sizes: women, men, students, artists, arts supporters, retirees, moms, dads, investment bankers, dishwashers, pixies, pirates, and kings!
If you love art and love being actively involved it making it happen, you have come to the right place. We have many jobs, such as:
- Working at a Venue Box Office during the Festival
- Helping to promote the Festival at the Farmer's Market
- Distributing the thousands of Fringe Programs
- Putting up posters and postcards promoting the Fringe
- Working as Venue Ushers during the Festival
- Helping at fundraising events and parties
- Watching the Children of the Fringe during board meetings
- Dozens of other Random tasks...

everyone!
Why You Should Volunteer:
Well, besides that warm fuzzy feeling you get from helping bring amazing art
to our community, you get:
- A Boulder International Fringe Festival T-shirt
- Vouchers redeemable for admission to performances of your choice during
the Fringe (one voucher for each 4 hours volunteered).
- An official letter of recognition
- An invitation to our volunteer wrap-up party
- An amazing amount of experience and engagement in your community
- Some Volunteers will actually work with artists collaborating on their shows

friends and family about signing up - it is a great activity to do together.
