Marko likes people, to perhaps a ridiculous amount. He's also a pretty big fan of the things that we can do, and the art that we can make, when we all come together.
To me, I guess, the best thing about the Fringe is that it is made up of everyone in the Fringe community; the artists, the volunteers, the patrons, the staff… we all work together to make the festival a reality, and so it's part of all of us. That's why there's so much energy around the festival. It's pretty darn cool.

When I moved to Boulder, I had no home, no family, no friends, no money, and I wandered the streets. It was the Fringe that took me in, gave me shelter, fed me warm coffee, and showed me how to get into shows for free. A little more than a year later, I'm working to help bring more people into the community. It's really pretty darn cool.

The Fringe also gives us an opportunity to build an even larger community, by bringing independent art which may not otherwise be seen to people who may not otherwise go to the theatre. This is also pretty darn cool. Notice the trend?
