Children stand on their chairs. Ladies laugh so hard they cry. Men make guttural guffaws as they watch the comedy antics of volunteers in this rollicking exhibition “Hellacious Hallucinations.”
Have preconceived notions about hypnosis? You say magic isn’t art? Leave all biases at the door! The SandMan’s fast-paced repartee creates a different kind of exhibition.
Shows begin with a fast–paced eccentric prop comedy skits – unconventional balloon routines to eating razor blades. Enough edge for a comedy club but clean enough for a (Liberal) Church BBQ. The Magical Comedy of Alan Sands is a polished gig alone worth the ticket price!
Then we take away the props and Sands guilds as we explore the “Magic of the Mind. “ It’s comedy stage hypnosis – clean enough for nuns & priests … but Alan loves wiping the self-righteous smile off Tea Party Conservatives.
EXPLORE emotions & sensations – FEEL the loss of a pet to bungee jumping! If this were rafting, it would be class 5! It’s one hellacious fast-paced show limited only by human imagination.
Don’t worry if the show sells out; half the audience stands the entire performance to see the outrageous antics. It’s a “Circus of Dreams.”

Very clever and a lot a heart. My laughter gave me a face cramp and the little kid next to me was laughing so hard he cried. Fantastic magic but the hypnotism slowed the show down..

Pretty good magic show with an audience interaction piece that was dynamite. 4 star for that. Then there is a second half of Hypnotism tha just plain failed the night I saw it and wow, how exhausting. Makes me wonder what a good night looks like.

Alan is phunny and witty and had us laughing for the first half of his show. Then he blew our minds with his amazing mind control over members of our audience that volunteered to be cast under his spell Our jaws dropped on the floor and all we could say afterwards was WOW!

Alan is a great entertainer and comedian with great comic timing. The show fell flat during the hypnosis part, which was way too long at 45 minutes. The first part was great and hilarious. Shorten the hypnosis part to 15 minutes, in my opinion.
