If you were too young to have lived thru the migrant farmworkser protests for improved working conditions and salaries or you just dont remember this part of American history, then dont miss this one act, one man show! Mr Blanco did an excellent job of not only protraying Chavez but also all the characters, in this energy emotion packed hour. He switched back and forth between Englsh and Spanish flawlessly. The play is extremely well written and acted and deserved a better venue and performance

An incredibly beautiful piece. Well written, strong characters and such pure emotion. This is a piece all of Boulder NEEDS to see. The way that Fred shows the plight of all of these people effected by Chavezs work and perseverance reminds us that we shouldnt take our freedom for granted. The piece embodies the truth that when anyone is oppressed we are all oppressed but that there is always... always hope. Top notch MUST-SEE show. GO SEE THIS SHOW.

A highlight of this festival! Vignettes portray the life, work and personality of Chavez as told by those who knew, esteemed or opposed him. Blanco dons each personality convincingly to tell Chavez legacy with admiration yet without fawning.
